• The jampa lhakhang and kyichu lhakhang is said to have built by 33 tibetan king Songten Gembo in 7th century mainly to remove the negative force of the demoness to spread the buddhism through Himalayan country.The jampa lhakhang was built on the demon knee and kyichu lhakhang on left foot.

Buddhism is also reach in the Bhutan  by the great  tantras master known as guru padmasambhava first visited in the the 750 CE as invitation of the king Sinda Raja of Bumthang to cure the sickness where the local deities called shelging Karpo has make king ill . Guru journey from Nabji in Trongsa to Bumthang. Guru have use super natural power to cure the king sickness. And at the short period of time the king Sinda and the people of Bumthang are convert to the Buddhism.
